Wounds, burns and large skin tears

Nurses provide in-home wound care supporting the healing of post-op incisions, serious wounds, burns or large skin tears. Wound Care Plans can be created and adjusted with a physicians order and followed by our Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses (LPN + RN). Wound Care Plans can be created, adjusted and followed without a physicians order by our Registered Nurses (RNs).

  • Basic wound care and dressing changes for incisions, skin tears or pressure sores can range from once a week to daily nursing visits
  • The minimum nursing visit is 1 hour including 15-30m for travel depending on geography

Call 911 right away for emergencies including

:

  • Chest pain or tightness
  • Choking or breathing difficulties
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Signs of a stroke
  • Severe burns
  • Convulsions that are not stopping
  • A drowning
  • A severe allergic reaction
  • A serious head injury
  • Major bleeding
  • Imminent childbirth
