Care While Travelling

Taking a trip with Caregiver support doesn’t have to be a headache! Caregivers can facilitate travel or adventure that would otherwise be daunting or impossible, whether for a few hours or days. Care While Travelling involves one or more caregivers travelling with an individual to provide for their care needs on-the-go, whether that is for a few hours to a 12 hour day. These are hourly services billed at hourly rates. Examples include:

A few hours to drive out to a friends for dinner
A full day for a Wedding or other large family event

Care While Travelling for multi-day trips is a form of Live-in service billed at Live-in rates. Give as much notice as possible for longer trips and peak holiday periods to ensure availability. Additional costs may apply for Care While Travelling:

Intro meetings to ensure fit
Tickets for the method of travel
Accommodations while travelling
Travel insurance
Per-diem for meals if not provided

Pro-tip: For transportation via stretcher, medically stable individuals can access non-medical ambulance transportation services.
