Wounds, burns and large skin tears
Nurses provide in-home wound care supporting the healing of post-op incisions, serious wounds, burns or large skin tears. Wound Care Plans can be created and adjusted with a physicians order and followed by our Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses (LPN + RN). Wound Care Plans can be created, adjusted and followed without a physicians order by our Registered Nurses (RNs).- Basic wound care and dressing changes for incisions, skin tears or pressure sores can range from once a week to daily nursing visits
- The minimum nursing visit is 1 hour including 15-30m for travel depending on geography
Call 911 right away for emergencies including
:
- Chest pain or tightness
- Choking or breathing difficulties
- Loss of consciousness
- Signs of a stroke
- Severe burns
- Convulsions that are not stopping
- A drowning
- A severe allergic reaction
- A serious head injury
- Major bleeding
- Imminent childbirth
