Visit Timing vs Team Continuity

Visit Timing vs Team Continuity

When a caregiver cannot make it for your scheduled service on short notice due to an accident, injury or illness - will it be more important to have a Caregiver from your regular team or to have a specific visit time? Many last minute scheduling decisions will come down to a choice between sending a new caregiver or changing the time to send a known caregiver. We always ask which is more important before service starts so we can make the right choices when change is necessary. Specific Visit Times may be due to appointments, time firm medications or a fixation with time. For ongoing Time Firm services, when change impacts these services there is a greater chance that the change will require a new Caregiver to ensure the Visit Timing priority is maintained.
Pro-tip: Most clients are more willing to compromise on their visit times to keep seeing the caregivers they already know.
