Visit Timing vs Team Continuity

When a caregiver calls in sick or has an accident on short notice, we face a choice: send someone new at your usual time, or shift the time so one of your regular team can come. Which matters more to you?

We ask this question before service starts, because the answer shapes every last-minute decision we make on your behalf.

When visit timing has to win

Some visits are locked to the clock. Medical appointments, time-sensitive medications, and clients who get anxious when the schedule shifts all fall into this category. If your visits are time-firm, we'll prioritize getting someone there on time, even if that means sending a caregiver you haven't met yet.

When team continuity has to win

For most clients, the relationship with their caregivers matters more than the exact hour of the visit. A familiar face who knows your routine, your preferences, and your home is worth shifting lunch by an hour. In our experience, most people would rather wait a bit than start over with a stranger.

Tell us which priority matters more for your situation, and we'll build your schedule around it. If it changes over time (and it often does), just let us know.

Pro-tip: Most clients are more willing to compromise on their visit times to keep seeing the caregivers they already know.
