Data Disclosure: Collection, Use and Storage
- Our in-house operations system, Lifespan Unified Care, is hosted on our own servers with offsite backups at another BC location.
- All other confidential data we retain is hosted in Canada.
- Only data relevant to service provision is collected. Collected data is only used for business purposes. Data will be stored for a minimum of ten (10) years. The Client and Payor consent to the storage and collection of personal and health-related information. This information is to be stored on cloud servers that comply with Canadian privacy legislationand are guarded against unauthorized access, unless otherwise stated.
Pro-tip: Many care providers are not privacy compliant and save confidential Canadian data on US servers.
