Data Disclosure: Collection, Use and Storage
Our in-house operations system, Lifespan Unified Care, runs on our own servers with offsite backups at another BC location. Every other piece of confidential data we hold is hosted in Canada.
We only collect data that's relevant to providing care, and we only use it for business purposes. Data is stored for a minimum of ten years. By engaging our services, the Client and Payor consent to the collection and storage of personal and health-related information on cloud servers that comply with Canadian privacy legislation and are guarded against unauthorized access, unless otherwise stated.
Pro-tip: Many care providers are not privacy compliant and save confidential Canadian data on US servers.
