We offer dental, prescription, and extended health benefits that kick in after 3 months on the job. To qualify, you need to average at least 15 hours per week, and premiums are split 50-50 between you and us.
What the extended health plan covers
The plan covers 80% of medications, 80% of basic dental (with 50% restorative after one year), and $250 to $750 per year in paramedical coverage per practitioner. Coverage improves at your 1-year and 3-year anniversaries, with better dental, paramedical, life insurance, and critical illness benefits.
We set the bar at 15 hours a week on purpose. Our older caregivers shouldn't have to work full-time just to keep their health coverage, and this way they can keep doing the work they love without burning out.
