CommunityPlus is BC's only private Living Wage home care employer. Locally owned, based in Metchosin, BC with 50+ experienced caregivers and nurses across Vancouver Island.

Pre-consideration Requirements!

• To join our team you must love caregiving and demonstrate excellent reliability and conscience. If this is not you then please do not apply. We weed out half of new hires within the first three months.
• We ONLY consider hiring caregivers who CURRENTLY live on Vancouver Island
• We ONLY hire caregivers who have a BC Caregiver Registry # or a strong skilled caregiving background including dementia care, safe patient handling and medication administration.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $26/hr for Caregivers
• $41.20/hr for LPNs
• $53/hr for RNs
• $4–$8/hr shift premiums
• Excellent health and dental with escalating benefits over years of service
• Up to 6 weeks Paid Time Off plus Bonus PTO for health and pensioners

Hiring Requirements

• Completion of a Certified Caregiving Course or equivalent experience
• Two professional references available by phone. Written references can be submitted as supplemental documentation.
• BC Care Aide Registry # or BCCNM Registration
• Solicitor General Criminal Record Review with Vulnerable Sector check
• BC Drivers License or BCID - Front and Back
• Current Auto Insurance
• Clear TB Test
• Valid First Aide
• COVID Vaccination Status
• Direct Deposit Information
