Home Care serving the Cowichan Valley
CommunityPlus provides compassionate home care and nursing services in Cowichan Valley. Locally owned, Living Wage certified, nurse-supervised care.
Home Care in the Cowichan Valley
Across the Cowichan Valley (Duncan, Mill Bay, Shawnigan Lake, Cobble Hill, Lake Cowichan, Chemainus, Crofton, Saltair, Ladysmith and Cassidy), CommunityPlus brings skilled, nurse-supervised home care to a region that blends small-town life with a real need for reliable support.
Our caregivers help clients stay safely at home with personal care, medication support, meal preparation, mobility assistance, companionship and respite for family caregivers, backed by our nursing team for wound care and post-operative support. They also drive and accompany people to and from appointments at Cowichan District Hospital and Valley clinics.
We build schedules around your life: one hour a week, daily visits, overnights, or full 24-hour care, at our published transparent rates, with no weekly minimums and a 24-hour cancellation policy. As Vancouver Island’s only private Living Wage-certified employer, we attract and keep career caregivers, which is why families from Duncan to Ladysmith’s harbour hillsides and Chemainus’s mural streets get the continuity of regular, familiar faces rather than a rotating cast of strangers.
